This book tries to reflect deeply on why we choose to run long distances. Frankly I didn't find the book succeeded in its aim, the author was trying just a little too hard to be philosophical & in the end I sometimes just didn't get it (e.g.

the discussion regarding his Mother-in-law's state of mind)/5. A well written, easy to understand book about why we run from a refreshing perspective.
